Far from an optimal position for stage, but we use the space we can in such a small car... These should help somewhat. We have to make some kind of grills to cover these and possibly a piece of sheet metal behind them to get a better sound and appearance. You can see the wires going into the doors for the 6-1/2 and 8 inch drivers going through with the stock harness.
We are using 2 amps, both 4 channel, one is a Crunch 1600 watt, the other is a Boss 1200 watt. When the 8” subs are put into the doors, the Boss will run them and the 4” dash speakers while the Crunch will run the 12” and 6-1/2 door speakers. At least that’s the plan. For now the Crunch will run the 12” sub, and the Boss will run the door and dash speakers.
We are putting a Cadence EQ/Line driver in the console to use it to adjust the sound levels of the Sub and balance the front and rear (since the deck is powering everything off the 2 RCA line levels. (The high level outputs were blown when someone connected them wrong) It will also push more power to the amps with 3 pairs of outputs at 5 volts each. The other bonus of this unit is it has an additional input for a MP3 / phone.
