One reason we got it so cheap was the water pump was leaking, When we got into it it was obvious why it was leaking, the bearing on the pump was totally gone. We replaced the timing belt and the thermostat while we were at it. I believe we replaced the plugs, cap and rotor as well. I did not get too many pics of this.
Of course once you get started resurrecting something like this, there is always collateral damage... The clutch was rather weak on this, and I was pretty sure it would not make it too far... I was right. There was no helping it with adjustment, it would not hold a steady speed in fourth at all. Again, not too many pics.
